As someone who works and performs as a pirate, the novelty of this is pretty fun, though it has room for improvements. There are several errors in spelling or spacing, and much of the "translation" seems to have been automatically generated by simple word replacement filters. Still, for the price, it's fun, though I'd love to see a more thoroughly reviewed version done some day.Product details

This version of the bible is a lot of fun to read.
This is a great translation...once you figure out all the pirate nuances, like that parrots are angles. Of course it makes sense because parrots will only speak what their Captain has taught them to. Our kid's camp this year is pirate themed, so having the Pirate Bible be very handy. My only wish is to have it in print instead of just kindle so I can have it in hand and flip around to verses I need as needed. Also because kindles and cell phones with kindle apps are not very piratety.
pretty cool version of the bible haven't had a chance to read it but have scanned through it. it works well with my kindle touch thanks
